Hawaii (part 3 of 4)

On Wednesday morning, we went to Pearl Harbor with Heather.
This is the anchor from the USS Arizona

After that, we went to the Ko Olina beach where Uncle Jim has a place.
 Beach Babes
They have some good snorkeling areas there, and the kids all loved getting to do that.

There was a Hawaiian Monk Seal resting on the beach. They are an endangered species, so they had the area roped off so no one would bother it.

Then on Thursday and Friday we spent a lot of time just playing on the beach at the house. Here the kids are, having a little break on the lanai.
Thursday was Bradley's kindergarten graduation back in Lehi. So that night I announced his graduation, and he walked around the room for everyone to celebrate.
 What a handsome first grader!
Loving the beach life.

Friday afternoon we went to the dole plantation with Derek's family, Grandpa and Grandma, and Heather. Caitlin got her favorite souvenir, a Hawaiian baby.

The family in a pineapple
Mackayla thought this tree was so cool because it looked like someone had painted the bark onto it. She also had a case of the sillies and made some funny faces for the camera!

Friday night, our last night at the house, Jared and Scott wanted to get in some boogie boarding. It was a perfect way to enjoy the sunset.
Caitlin was having a good time too!
