January 2017

I love these cute, bundled up faces! We had a lot of snow this month. Its always fun to go clear Grandpa and Grandma's driveway.

So many nights are spent with these two working on math together. I know it's frustrating for both of them at times and emotions tend to run high but they always get through it. Mackayla is so lucky to have her dad to help her!

Movie night at Grandma's and more fun in the snow. We got to go play at the Holt's and get pulled by the Polaris on a tube.

The dogs took good care of Jacob when he was sick. His brother and sisters also helped him. Bradley and Caitlin were guarding him and Mackayla was giving him his blanket.

Bradley is working on finishing his candy dispenser that he got from Cub Scouts. It's a lot of work to make Caitlin's bed and get everything set up just right! I tried to get a picture of Caitlin sleeping on me. She loves having Jared or I lay with her as she falls asleep. And a few pictures of Jared and his crazy girls.

Grandpa and Grandma gave us a night at Great Wolf Lodge for Christmas. The Holts and Hatfields also joined us. We had a great time playing in the water for two days. It was a nice break from playing in the snow.

Bradley loves a good book! We had to spend some time digging out the ice and slush in front of the house so the water would all drain. A pool shark in training. Jacob had his first grade concert at school. We always love getting to watch the kids perform!

We love our little Caitlin! She's always making us smile and ends up in lots of pictures! One Sunday afternoon after the boys had changed out of their church clothes, I had to laugh as I walked into their room. Bradley had laid his clothes out nicely (they can't really reach their hangers to hang them up) on his bed and Jacob's clothes were just thrown off everywhere. It just perfectly shows who they are.

Mackayla turns 11!

Mackayla is 11! She had a great day celebrating. She had to go back to school for her birthday. Caitlin was ready with a sign to greet her when we picked her up. She wanted pancakes with homemade syrup for dinner. Grandpa, Grandma, Heather and the Holts joined us for the party. Bradley dressed up to be the official greeter of our guests. After
