Halloween

The festivities this year started off with the ward party. Everyone looked great!

Sunday Dinner with a spooky flair!

Carving pumpkins

Heading out to a Halloween party as punk rockers
Mackayla's school didn't wear costumes but the other three got to dress up. Caitlin had a fun Halloween party at preschool that I got to stay and help with.

Finally time for trick or treating. Our first stop was Grandma's and Grandpa's house.

Before the night could actually be over, we had to take a picture of the dogs in costumes. They were good sports! :)

Bradley turns 9

Happy Birthday Bradley. It's always fun when your birthday is on a Saturday. He had a party with Logan in the afternoon. Logan's other cousins were also able to join us. After lunch they shot at aliens with nerf guns.

The Birthday Boys! April brought a pinata for the kids to do. It was raining outside and the string broke off the pinata right away so we had to improvise. They each took turns kicking the pinata while the guys held it. I thought it was more fun that way anyway. :)

That night we did some hot tubbing, watched a movie and had Bradley's M&M cake.

Bradley is such a great young man! He's such a good brother and son and always wants to please everyone. He still loves to read and often has his nose in a book. He loves to swim and ride his bike and is always up for a nerf gun battle or sword fight. He's enjoying school so much more this year. He has a great time with Logan and loves the PAL program that he's in now. We're so lucky he's ours! We love you Bradley!

Fall Time

Back to school! Mackayla started 5th grade at the big middle school this year. She goes to school an hour earlier this year, so Jared takes her to school. She was a little nervous and had a little bit of trouble finding a couple of classes, but overall she said it was good and she was excited to go back the next day. Bradley and Jacob started 3rd and 1st grade at a new elementary school, Wide Hollow. They both have great teachers and have had such a great start. Bradley is already so much happier than he was last year and he really loves being in the same class as his cousin Logan.

Caitlin was glad to be able to stay home and play with the dogs while the kids were gone. She always loves coming with me to pick up Mackayla and Jaden from the middle school. Mackayla looks so grown up walking to the car every day.

The dreaded day finally came when I had to send my little baby off to preschool. She was so excited, but also pretty nervous. She loved it but I hated every second of it. It's not so bad that she's gone for 2.5 hours, I just hate that this is the beginning of the end of this stage of life. She couldn't have been any cuter though!!
They love taking care of our dogs. And Caitlin loves the new dress to play in at Grandma's house.

Tour of Homes time! Life was pretty crazy but Jared got the Holt's house done in time and April got it all staged and looking beautiful. April and I met out at her new house on the morning of the judging to do some last minute polishing. We both showed up wearing matching outfits. This picture was taken later in the day.
Jared and I got to go to the awards dinner the night before the tour started. His home won best master suite and best kitchen. He was also the only home to reach 4 star built green status and was also awarded for that. Jacob lost his second tooth that night also. So much excitement around here!

The older kids decided to have a lemonade stand out at the corner one morning during the tour and made some pretty good money! Jared was pretty exhausted by the end of the days during the tour. This last picture was as the tour ended. He survived another year! Everyone loved the home and he met a lot of great people. Definitely a success!

Papa, Nini, Ashley, and Jason all came up for the tour this year. It was so fun to have them here and we really appreciated the support. We ended up winning the People's Choice award again this year (by only 3 votes). Not really, but that's what Jared told them after they left. :-) We really were so glad to see them and have them visit.

Bradley thought it was pretty cool to do his homework at a nice desk.
We usually go to Grandma and Grandpa's house to hangout between middle school pick up and elementary pick up. Sometimes there are cookies waiting there for us. :)

Central Washington State Fair. We all met up this year and enjoyed an afternoon/evening at the fair. The three older kids got to try the jumping thing this year. Caitlin was too young so she got a little pink dog that barks instead. She was pretty pleased with it. We enjoyed the elephant ears, ice cream, pig races, and all the fun animals and things to see there.

More of our everyday lives. Enjoying a cardinals game. Mackayla enjoying a good book. Bradley with his cub scout group.

Some night swimming and hot tubbing before the pool was closed up for the winter.

Conference weekend. We watched conference at home on our computer on Saturday. On Sunday, the Holts and us all met up at Grandpa and Grandma's house to watch it. Bradley and Logan joined the MOTAB choir this weekend too!

Caitlin is the star student! She is loving preschool. She loves show and tell days and has had a couple of fun field trips to an orchard and a fire station. I am glad I was able to go with her on them.

Playing out at the Holt's house! We had a bonfire and s'mores.

Out walking the dogs in the cool fall weather.

Caitlin is stronger than she looks! We got some overdue pictures taken of her recently.
