Thanksgiving

We were so excited to have Papa, Nini, and Grandma Jones come up and spend Thanksgiving with us this year. It was hard on Grandma Jones to travel but we were so grateful for the time we had with her. We made some little cookie turkeys. Mackayla made the apple pie and Jacob made the banana creme pie. We had a delicious dinner. Grandma wasn't feeling very well so she spent a lot of the day in bed. We felt so bad for her but we're so glad she made the trip up to see us as it was the last time we got to spend time with her. We did get a super cute picture of her and Jared wearing matching outfits!

Melissa Turns 38 and November

My parents took us to Shari's for dinner and came back for pie the day before my birthday since they couldn't be there the next day. Then the next day we had a quiet dinner at home and a nice celebration.

Sister twins. Time for a haircut. The first snow. Jared in his new suit.

Reading with Dad. Arm wrestling with Grandma. Caitlin disguised her turkey as a ballerina for her school project.

Picking up Mackayla from school. She hates the taste of all medicines that you have to drink and is pretty sure taking it is going to kill her. Jared labeled the cup appropriately with a face of a dead guy.

Finished another puzzle. We celebrated our anniversary by watching our wedding video with the kids and taking this great selfie. Helping Grandpa and Grandma by bringing up their trash can. Good looking color guards.

Halloween

We had a cheetah, a spider lady, and a some crazy dudes with us at the ward party.

Fun carving pumpkins

The three younger kids got to dress up for school on Halloween. I got to help at Jacob's class party. For dinner we made monster faces. (Jared and I went to an adult party a couple days before) Then we went trick or treating. The night ended with a witch serving us some rootbeer. Everyone got more candy than they needed. Another successful Halloween!
