February

We all enjoyed a fun Super Bowl party. It's always fun to get to eat in front of the TV
The boys both claimed they were too tired to walk up the stairs to bed one night. So, they both got a ride from Dad.
Caitlin looking so big in her pig tails
Having a tea party
Mackayla wanted a heart hair-do for Valentine's Day.
Jared got home pretty late from work on Valentine's Day so we had to make the pizzas without him.

We had a nice Valentines dinner, and Jared even showed up in time to eat with us.
After dinner we looked at the Valentines that we all exchanged.
Bradley was a little sick that day and had missed his preschool party. We dropped off his Valentines though that he already had ready and they collected Valentines for him too. He and Jacob were both glad to get to have a little family party to participate in though.
Then everybody got just a little something as a Valentines gift.
Jacob got his own umbrella.
I made Jared this candy bouquet.
The kids each got a book called Dear _____ that Jared and I get to write notes back and forth with them in. They've loved getting letters and writing letters to us. Jacob always writes back by drawing us funny pictures.
Then we finished the night off with heart shaped brownies.
Caitlin fell asleep in my arms one afternoon and she looked so sweet, I just had to take a picture.
Here comes trouble! That's what we always say when Caitlin is coming. She's in to everything and loves making messes. We think everything she does though is so cute, and everyone is always smiling when she is around.
Jacob was feeling a little sick one night, and so he thought he should get to eat his dinner on the couch.
For no reason, other than I just thought she was looking adorable, I took Mackayla's picture on the way out the door to school one morning.
Caitlin always makes this squinty little face to us. She thinks she's so funny, and she must be right, because it always makes us laugh.
Her BIG news for the month is that she started walking! She started walking just before she turned 10 months. She is by far our earliest walker. Now, at 10 months she is walking all over the place. Her other great talent is saying hi to everyone. Everywhere we go, and always at home, she is waving to everyone and saying HI!

Mackayla was not at all amused that I took this picture. She came to the door for help because her hair was all over in her face and she couldn't get it out with her mittens on.

I love that when the kids sit down to watch a show, they always sit right next to each other.

Caitlin loves baths. If she can't have a real one, she's perfectly happy just to play in the empty tub.
We went to a BYU basketball game one night. The boys wanted their picture taken with this Cosmo cutout.
Caitlin already loves doing the dishes. :)
We took some pictures of the kids so we could send out a Valentine's Day card to grandparents. It was so much easier to take the pictures individually than all together! This way it only took a couple minutes and was frustration-free!

Sweetheart Ball

We had our 4th Annual Jones Sweetheart Ball. As usual it was held on the Saturday night before Valentine's Day. It was a blast, and so much fun that we might do it again next year.

The Girls

What a fancy spread!

This is Mackayla's amazing camera work. She is getting pretty good at shooting pictures of her mom and dad.

The tough guys

The party goers

The boot scootin' baby!

Caitlin is getting so close to walking. She always stands on her own and even starts to take a step or two before she realizes what she is doing. At 9 months, she is by far our earliest walker!

Bradley asking Mackayla to dance with a gracious bow, and her responding with a proper curtsey. Jacob tried to be just as proper when asking to dance, but it kept coming out as, "can I may have this dance?" Cute kid! He was really into the dancing this year and asked his mom to dance over and over and over again!

A dip

Cute kiddos!

As everything was winding down, the boys decided it was time to shed their clothes and start a real party! Silly boys!
