Halloween

We made "monsters" for dinner on Sunday before Halloween. Everyone loved creating their own monsters.

Then we had our fun Halloween rootbeer party. Jacob loved that I dressed up a little as a witch. He was so disappointed when I had to take it off for bedtime.
We have a picture of each of the kids drinking from these cups when they're little so we had to get one of Caitlin too.
Carving pumpkins for Family Home Evening.
Mackayla LOVED the goo and played with it all night. Bradley didn't like the feel of the pumpkin slime at all.
 Some of our finished work.
 Our Halloween girl.
Mackayla was ready to head out to school on Halloween day.
Jacob was ready for his Halloween party at preschool.

Caitlin and I went to the school to watch the Halloween parade. Our picture of Mackayla walking by was way blurry, but here's one of Bradley.
After the parade we went right over to Bradley's class to do the game for his class party.
 Class picture.
We picked up Jacob and went home to put Caitlin to bed. Jared came home to sit with the kids for a bit, and I rushed back to the school to help with Mackayla's class party.  It was a fun day at school!
 Ready for trick-or-treating that night!

Caitlin loves Abby Caddabby and was SO cute dressed up as her.

 Bradley, the Power Ranger.
 Mackayla the Cat
 Jacob the Muscle Man!
And here is Daddy, ready to take them out.
There was a fun rainbow in the sky as they headed out for the night.

They came trick-or-treating back to our house after awhile, and we figured they would drop off Caitlin at that point and then head out for some more. She didn't like that plan though. She loved trick-or-treating and wanted to keep going. She was out for two hours and loved it! Jacob; however, wanted to stay home and helped me answer the door at that point.
Checking out her loot after she was done.

The kids had a few days off of school in mid-October for fall break. Jared had to work so we didn't go anywhere, but Jared was invited to take his family to Lagoon for a night sponsored by one of the trades they work with. We had A SUPER GREAT TIME! We loved every minute of it despite the very cold weather by the evening.

We sent the boys up one night to get their pajamas on. Instead, they came down laughing that they had every pair of their underwear on!

Crazy sock day at school! They had fun days at school all week. Jacob wanted to participate too, so he wore the crazy socks to his preschool that day. Caitlin just loves to be in the pictures. :)

Bradley's 6th Birthday

Our little Power Ranger turns 6!
He had a party a couple days before his birthday with a few of the boys from the neighborhood.
He wanted his cake to look like Master Xandred from the Power Rangers.

The boys are starting off with a little Kinect Party.
Then some Power Ranger training

Then throwing some darts to get a prize from inside the balloons.
Even Caitlin got one.
Jacob had picked this sword out for Bradley. He knows his brother well, and Bradley loves it!
Time for cake!

This is the morning of his birthday!
He wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday because he knew they would bring him some birthday ice cream.

Caitlin was helping Dad cut his steak.
Here he is in the saddle, getting his ice cream!

Then home for some presents.

Blue Ranger!
Bey Blades!
He had some Mooger cupcakes.
Happy Birthday!
Caitlin loved them.
Bradley at 6:
Bradley has a wonderful imagination and spends a lot of time as the Red Ranger. He loves training and fighting Nylocks with Jacob. Weapons are still his favorite toys, and he always has one with him. He learned to swim and ride his bike this summer, and loves to do both. He still wants to be a basketball player and started playing on his first team this month. He is an amazing reader! He reads anything you put in front of him. He also loves Math. A lot of times at night, he has trouble falling asleep because he is either doing math problems, or spelling words in his head. He is certainly a gifted boy. He's enjoying Kindergarten though and loves riding the bus.  He is also in a gymnastics class and loves to swing on the bars, practice on the pummel horse, and jump everywhere! He's a very sweet boy that never wants to do anything wrong. He still adores his baby sister, Caitlin, and loves playing with Jacob and Mackayla for hours on end. We love our Bradley and are so blessed to have him in our family!

Jared's grandparents were in town and we got to have them over for Sunday dinner along with Ashley's family and Jared's cousin, Logan.
Mackayla raked up all the leaves from our small tree so they could jump in them.
The kids were making a candy corn banner.
Caitlin's pumpkin from the garden was finally ready.
Caitlin wanted front row seats for general conference.
Our handsome little guy, Jacob.
I just thought it was funny that the boys chose to eat their snacks laying on the kitchen floor.
