Finishing Spring

On Jacob's last day of preschool, his class went on a field trip to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. Caitlin and I got to go too. Caitlin loved riding this big horse!

Mackayla did a great job in the 2nd grade show.

We had a Hawaiian dinner on the Sunday before our big Hawaii trip to get in the mood and talk about what we still needed to do to be ready to leave.

The last couple weeks of school the kids didn't have any homework. Mackayla got out one of her math books and was working just for fun. I thought this was so funny because she hated doing homework every single night. But, she said that since it wasn't homework, it was fun to do.

The last few weeks of school went by so fast because we were getting SO excited about our trip to Hawaii. The kids got to get out of school a week early. This is Bradley's last day of Kindergarten. I'm really not looking forward to having to send him to school all day next year.  He's such a cute little kindergarten graduate though!

Mackayla's best friend, Daphne, was sad that it was Mackayla's last day since she'll have to go to a new school, just being built, next year. She came over that evening to give Mackayla a Best Friend necklace.

 

We were leaving for Hawaii the next morning, so Caitlin had to get her toe nails painted.

Then, after Jared got home from work, Mackayla and I snuck off to get a pedicure.

We were finally ready for our trip!! Let the adventure begin!!
