February

For a while, Caitlin wanted to have this entire set of friends with her whenever she sat down.
Jacob and Caitlin snuggled up on the couch
The day after Mackayla's baptism was the superbowl. Normally, the Superbowl isn't that big of a deal, but since Dad and Mom were here and their team, the Seahawks, was playing, we went all out. Mom brought the balloon and some Seahawks desserts from Yakima. Dad and Mom Jones and the Nelsons joined us for the game also!

A sad but common site these days.
My parents stayed around so that the next weekend Jared and I could have our first ever getaway weekend. We left Friday afternoon and came back Sunday afternoon. Mackayla was pretty upset that we were leaving. Here, they were distracting the kids with some play-doh fun while we left.
We first went and did a session at the temple, then went to dinner at Los Hermanos.
After that, we went and stayed a hotel in downtown Salt Lake. The next morning, we drove up to Park City and did some shopping. It was a beautiful, snowy day up there!
While we were in Park City, he took me a big house that Magleby had just built. It was a model home, so we got to walk through it. I'd heard so much about it, it was fun to finally see it.
Hot chocolate in the hotel, while watching the Olympics.
Sunday morning we went to Music and the Spoken Word at the tabernacle

We had gotten the kids each a new hat to give them when we got home.
We headed up Provo Canyon one afternoon to do some sledding.
Bradley was so excited to try out his sled. Unfortunately, Jared decided to try it out...
and it didn't end very well. There were many tears...

We had a great time!
Jacob is always so entertaining at dinner. When he doesn't like something, he doesn't try to hide it. He makes faces for every single bite.

Bradley woke up one Saturday morning with a horrible ear ache. Jared took him to the doctor and he had an ear infection. They also said that he needed a breathing treatment because of some bad congestion in his lungs. It was our first experience with a nebulizer.
Saturday morning chores. Such a good helper.
Sunday afternoon nap
Our family is so twisted!
Jacob's fancy hair!
