Bradley turns 5!

Bradley had been planning his Star Wars birthday party for a full year. He was SO excited for his birthday to finally arrive.
In the morning, before Jared left for work, he opened a present from Grandma and Grandpa. It was a Jedi costume. He loved it and wore it the entire day. The entire week actually.
 Jacob trying it on.
The kids were still on fall break for Bradley's birthday, so we got to have a nice relaxing morning.
Bradley wanted the Death Star to be on his birthday cake. Jared was in charge of the decorating the Death Star part of the cake. It turned out great!
Ready for the party
With his presents
He wanted to eat at Panda Express for his dinner.
Then, to start the party off, his friend Jack came over and they had Jedi training with Jared. They all got a certificate that they had completed their training. The Nelsons then joined us and the girls all did some training also. Aunt April had make Jedi robes for Logan's party the week before, so I had her make an extra and mail it to us so Jacob got to dress as a Jedi that day too.
Yoda Soda, Wookie Cookies, and a cake.
 Happy Birthday to you...

 Reese and Caitlin
A couple pictures from opening the presents.

Papa and Nini gave Bradley a couple little Star Wars toys. One was an R2D2 that lights up and makes the beeping sounds that he makes. He loves it so much, and somehow it came up that he thinks he loves that toy more than me or the rest of the family. I spent an entire day trying to convince him that he actually loves me more...but he never did believe me. He did finally say that he loves Caitlin and his R2D2 toy the same, and the rest of us come in second place I guess. He wasn't trying to be mean or hurtful at all, he was just stating a fact he thought. I told him that night if he got too lonely when he went to bed, as he sometimes does, R2D2 could lay by him then for a few minutes instead of me. He never did get the point, but I'm sure someday he'll realize he loves me more than any of his toys. :)

Bradley at 5:
Bradley is completely a boy! He loves to run, jump, fight, climb, and run and jump some more. He loves weapons and can turn almost anything into one. He got a 5 dollar bill for his birthday and exclaimed "I can go to the dollar store and buy 5 weapons!" He still loves kung-fu and Star Wars. In spite of all his toughness, he is a very gentle and kind little boy. He loves his baby sister more than anything else on Earth (he tells us this often) and always wants to be right next to her. He plays so well with Mackayla and Jacob also, and loves them so much! He loves preschool and his gymnastics class. When he grows up he wants to be a basketball player and a forklift driver. He is a very happy boy and everyone always comments on how well behaved he is. He doesn't do well with pain though. He had to get his immunization shots this week, and it was a very traumatic experience for him. He's always a good helper for Mom and Dad, and rarely ever causes any trouble. We love him tons, and are so proud of the big 5 year old that he has become!
