We had a quiet 4th of July just by ourselves this year.
Festive Family
Jared had fun making decorated pancakes that morning.
And we had fun eating them.
We spent the afternoon playing on the slip-n-slide. Mackayla didn't want to get wet so she got the job of taking pictures. These next few are all taken by her.

One afternoon the kids were trying not to get wet while playing in the sprinklers.
Right before we were suppose to leave for our summer family reunion trips, the kids all came down with a bad stomach bug. Jacob also had a high fever and was very sick! 
We got a visit from the Hatfield family while they were on their Utah part of their summer trip. The kids loved getting to play with cousins!
We've had a ton of wild fires here in Utah this last month and some of them have been fairly close. You could see in the picture before that the mountain was on fire during the 4th of July week and the week before that the mountains on the other side of us were on fire. These are a couple pictures I took of the smoke from that one.
