Grandpa & Grandma plus more

Grandpa and Grandma Hatfield were able to spend last week visiting at our house. It was so much fun to have them here.
A tickle from Grandpa

Grandma and SnowWhite

Relaxing with the kids.
Grandma was actually ready to catch Bradley in case he rolled off while sleeping on the couch. Mackayla was just wanting to be by her Grandma's side. As soon as my parents showed up Mackayla didn't have much need for me anymore. She loved pretending to be a baby and have Grandma be her "mama."

I asked Dad and Mom if we could borrow their jumpolene for the winter. It was much smaller than I remembered but the kids loved jumping around in there.

Here is a little display of all the presidents of BYU. We're sure Jared will be next in line.
Twirling
Bradley trying to open a birthday present from Nini and Papa. Mackayla did most of it, but we're pretty sure he'll have it down by Christmas.
A boy and his truck - what more needs to be said?
Mackayla's first real haircut. I've trimmed her bangs before but this time we took almost an inch off the ends. As I very well know, with curly hair you don't have to cut much to make it look a lot shorter. It's curling up a lot more now and looks like a cute little hairdo.

At the beginning of the month we went to the BYU homecoming parade. It was really cold that day so not many people were actually lined up on the street. We had a great time, though, and the kids got lots of candy!

Jared brought all this in from the garden the night before our first freeze. We cut the watermelon a few days later, but it was just turning pink inside - not quite ripe enough, but it really did taste like a watermelon.

Sorry for missing the last post. Looks like Bradley had a fun birthday. He and Mackayla have matching hair-do's. He's getting a regular old school curly fro--I love it! I'm glad you had a little "vacation" while Grandma was there (since Mackayla became Grandma's shadow).

It looks like you guys have tons of fun! I bet Mackayla misses Grandma and Grandpa (but they will be back for Halloween, right?). I love Bradley's hair!

It looks like you guys are still living it up in Utah despite the cold weather- Hopefully you guys have a few more weeks of fall before winter settles in :)

I LOVE the snow white costume, the naked haircut pictures, and those tomatoes. Was they just absolutely delicious?

Hooray for Grandma and Grandpa's visit! Good job on Mackayla's haircut; I think I learned the hard way with Meagan that a little cut goes a long way with curly hair. What an awesome harvest - everything looks delicious! You guys sure have green thumbs.

Mom looks good asleep on the floor! I didn't realize that Mackayla's hair was so long. She pulls off snow white perfectly!
