We had a wonderful Valentine's day complete with our second annual homemade, heart-shaped pizza. We gave a little purple doggie to Mackayla for a V-day gift. Jared came home from work and placed a white stuffed dog on the table. Before he could explain that it was for his lovely wife Mackayla assumed it was for her, grabbed it and was so excited that she now had two new doggies! I had to wait until she went to bed to hold my dog.
With the new dogs around we of course needed to have a doggie party! A good time was had by all.
Bradley at the doggie party.
I am working on getting Mackayla's room more organized rather than just having two big baskets filled with toys. Jared is planning on making us a shelf for the toys. Mackayla and I were organizing things today and were able to get one of the baskets emptied. With an empty basket sitting there Mackayla of course needed a ride. She climbed in and I pushed her around the house for a few minutes until by back wore out.
Bradley has his 4 month check up this last week. He weighed in at 16lbs 4oz and was 26.5 inches long! We gave him rice cereal a few times now and he loves it. We'll probably wait until he's closer to 6 months before we start adding vegetables and fruit to his diet.
I love taking pictures of Jared and the kids so here are a few from this week. (My goal is to start being in more of the pictures)
Last week Grandma Hatfield had a layover in Salt Lake on her way home from helping Derek's family. We were so happy to be able to see her for an hour.

What is Mackayla eating? Whatever it is I want some!
I'll take one photo of the week! We are having fun in Hawaii!
Love the doggie party. The kids are so sweet!
Congratulations Bradley! What a big boy. It's your dream come true Melissa--a chubby baby. Mackayla has quite the collection of doggies. I've been trying to be in more pictures too--it just seems that the moms are always the ones taking the pictures. I'll take some "indulgence" too.
Mackayla seems to have long legs! Bradley is so big! I can't to see those kids in person. I love the pictures and all but it is more fun to see the kids in person.
love the post... and the valentine's celebration! i am glad to know that if any of our dogs need a place to go, your house looks like a great option - many friends, well fed, lots of room to play, lots of love by the caretaker... she is hilarious! i'm glad that stuffed animals bring such pleasure. like the new look to the blog by the way~ and the POTW (photo of the week).
