February and March

Caitlin picked out this cute headband to wear while running errands. She's always my little helper, bringing in the mail with me or whatever else I'm doing. She also always wants to bbq with Daddy.

This cute boy turned 5 1/2 this day, which is much older than 5. He said, "I feel older, a little bit like a teenager."
Making Valentines. We had fun making their boxes and Valentines. Mackayla helped Caitlin make a bag, and each of the kids gave her a valentine.

My valentine got up early and made me a wonderful crepe breakfast. Then we made heart pizzas for lunch, and started getting ready for the ball that night!

Another fun trip swimming at the Legacy Center. Caitlin and I got to accompany Jacob on his preschool trip to the fire station.

Sunday afternoon with Calvin and Hobbes
This is Mackayla and Caitlin wearing the same, size 3T, dress on different days. It has always been one of Mackayla's favorite things to wear, so she just keeps wearing it every year. She says its a dress for little girls, and a shirt for bigger girls. I'm so glad they can share clothes now. :)
Mackayla reading under her covers instead of sleeping.
A little fun in the late winter snow.

Jason and Elena came up to visit for a weekend to hang out and do some snowboarding. It was so fun to see them, and to celebrate Jason's birthday.

The kids wanted another chance to play in the snow, so we drove up to the mountains and found some one afternoon.

Our plan was in motion to move to Yakima and start our own construction company. Grandpa and Grandma flew up to visit us and help us get a few things done. We rented a moving truck so they could drive some of our stuff up for us. We only intended to get a small truck, but when we showed up to get it they only had big ones. So they upgraded us at no extra cost. It was so nice to be able to get a bunch of our stuff out of the way and up there.

We took a break from loading up the truck to go see the new Cinderella movie.

My little leprechauns! We had a green dinner and our traditional scavenger hunt.

Black and white day at Bradley's class. They all needed to dress in black and white and give an oral report. Bradley's was on Orca Whales.
At the work Christmas party, Jared was given a night at the Little America hotel in Salt Lake along with a money allowance for food. We didn't have a babysitter for a romantic getaway, so it became a family getaway. We had such a good time. We had a nice dinner and enjoyed the hotel. The kids' favorite part was the fast moving elevator. On our way home in the morning, we stopped at IHOP for a yummy breakfast.

"It was fun making this rose! I hope you will have fun!" The photo and caption were both requested by Jacob. Below that is a cute picture of Mackayla reading to her little sister. They love each other so much, and love sharing a room.

More snuggling. They are all each other's best friends. If they aren't getting along on any occasion, it's nothing a little nose-to-nose time won't take care of.

A picture to remember some of Jacob's brilliant art work. The kids are all doing their homework together. The little ones love coming up with some kind of homework to do, and poor Mackayla suffers through hers.

Such great helpers with all the little projects we had going on.
Going for a little bike ride
We went to a performance of Pinkalicious at the Scera theater with the Nelsons. It is one of our favorite books, so the the play was so fun to see.
