Happy Father's day to our "SUPER DADDY!" We started out the day making him breakfast.
Then gave him some presents while enjoying the morning on the deck.
Jacob gave dad a new shirt and some gummy worms
Mackayla gave him a giant cup and some lemon heads
Another shirt from Caitlin
Raspberry lemonaid and a new tie from Bradley
The kids worked really hard during the week to make their card for their dad.
A well-done cookie stake that Bradley put together in his church class and gave him. He was very grateful to receive this gift since he was feeling very gypped that out ward didn't give a gift to the fathers. :)
We cooked him a nice dinner of ribs. Caitlin mostly enjoyed the jello.
That evening the kids put on a "show" for Jared.
We finished the night off with a cheese cake. We always love having a day to tell and show Jared how much we love and appreciate him! We have some pretty lucky kids.
The rest of these pictures are just some random pictures from the last couple weeks.
Whenever we pick strawberries, Caitlin always sneaks a bunch a berries and make a big mess. :)
Mackayla posing with our flowers on the back deck. After our trip to Washington in the summer, they never quite recovered and didn't look this good for the rest of the summer.
Pretending to be asleep on the couch.
A few days after Father's Day, we finally made Jared a drink in his fancy new cup.
There he is, out mowing the yard.
We were getting lots of strawberries this year but there were a couple Robins I couldn't keep out of the berries. They were making me so mad, so I called Jared on afternoon to complain. That night on the way home, he stopped and picked up some supplies. He built us a strawberry cage and the berries were all safe by the end of the day! We loved watching out the window as the birds figured out they couldn't get in anymore.
All the strawberried we picked one evening. They just kept coming and we loved eating them all.
Caitlin's first baseball lesson.
We all wish we could beat the heat this way.
Jacob, the police officer, up to bat.
