Mackayla wanted a Strawberry Shortcake birthday party this year. We were still in Arizona and leaving that afternoon to drive home so her party took place in the morning . The night before her birthday she suddenly got really sick and we were so worried she wouldn't be able to enjoy her birthday that she had been looking forward to for SO LONG! Fortunatly, by morning she seemed to be feeling good and had a great time.
Mackayla loved that everything for her party that day was pink.
She requested pink pancakes for her birthday, topped of course, with strawberries.

It had been over a week since she opened all her Christmas presents so she was long overdue for more presents to open.
I think her two favorite gifts between Christmas and her birthday were a Doctor's office set and a bag full of "hair accessories" to fix hair.
We had cake just before we hit the road. She had a great birthday!

What a fun birthday! I wish we had more pink around this house. Too bad Mackayla didn't have her dr kit the night before when she was sick.
