For some reason there is no way to leave a comment for my Easter post. I've tried and tried but cannot figure it out. So, you can leave a comment for that post here! Sorry.

Happy Easter!
We had a wonderful Easter together this year. It was a beautiful and sunny day. We didn't have anyone to take our picture for us so we just took a bunch of different pictures to get us all in. These are before church.
Enjoying the afernoon in our spring clothes!
Mackayla was so excited about coloring eggs. She really wanted to be involved in the whole process which caused a few little problems. First thing she did was to drop two of the color tablets into the same cup of water which created a beautiful brown dye.
Everything turned out great as you can see by the colorful eggs.
The Easter Baskets
Mackayla checking out her basket. I can really tell she's my daughter in pictures like this. She wakes up with the exact same hairdo as I do.
Bradley looking at his basket. The poor little guy didn't seem to feel good most of the day. We think he might be getting a cold (or maybe just teething.)
Mackayla was able to participate in two Easter egg hunts. The first one was a neighborhood tradition and the second was a primary activity.
Here is a picture of the children in the neighborhood getting ready to find eggs.
I end up putting a lot of pictures on some of my posts because I plan on turning my blog into a family photo/scrap book and I want all these pictures in it. April sent me a link to a site where you can turn your blog into a photo book. I haven't worked with it yet but if it works out I'll just have a book made once a year. Has anyone tried to do this yet?

March Madness
I'm a little late in putting up my post for the week because Jared has been using the computer all night for the past few nights doing homework. Only one more month of that nonsense though! I only have a few minutes now so I'm going to just put up some picutes from the last week with little writing.
St. Patrick's Day
Making green cookies
We added sqaush to Bradley's diet this week. He loves it.
Cozy in Mackayla's Bed
It's a lot of hard work but Mackayla can put on her own tights now and is very proud of this accomplishment.

Something Fishy
This last Saturday we went to the mall and a few other stores to look around. Mackayla selected her own outfit, and we decided to allow it. There were many comments and smiles from onlookers.
Some exciting news around here is that we finally purchased a double stroller! There have been a couple afternoons that it has been warm enough to take a little walk, and the kids both love it. I'm excited to start getting some regular exercise when it warms up a bit more.
Just a picture of my beautiful boy and his lovely curls!
One of Mackayla's favorite activites lately is baking. She pretends to make cakes and cookies all the time. She especially loves to bake with her Daddy's help. We reminded her that her cousin Spencer is an expert cake baker, and she would love to bake cakes with him sometime!
That being said, Mackayla was VERY EXCITED when I told her at the beginning of the week that her Grandma Nini was having a birthday and we could make her a cake. She helped me make it and then decorated it. She was so proud of the end result. We called Nini on the webcam and showed her the cake. It was a wonderful event in Mackayla's life.
Never too many pictures of that wonderful smile!
We had another fun week of school learning about water and fish. I twisted Jared's arm and got him to take us to Cabellas for Family Home Evening to look at the the big fish aquarium.

Playing "Sink or Float"
She loved testing all the objects to see which ones floated and which ones did not. I have to admit, I was actually suprised at a few of the objects that floated.

And we all go MARCHing on..
We've finally had a break from the snow and have enjoyed being able to go outside a little bit in the afternoons. We're certainly ready for Spring to be here!
These leaves were burried by the snow all winter long. It looks like its time for some spring cleaning!
My Aunt Sharon has been in town so we were able to take Mackayla swimming at her hotel pool. Mackayla was SO EXCITED to get to swim again.
We had our first week of school. Bird week was definitly a success. After a couple days, as soon as Bradley went down for his morning nap Mackayla would run to the table and say "Mom, it's time for school!" She is excited to learn about water and fish next week. Following are a few pictures of some of the activities that we did.
Mackayla got to glue different kinds of feathers to different kinds of birds when we learned about feathers.
She enjoyed being a bird with her own bird beak.
Looking for birds through her bird watching binoculars. She refused to add a second viewer onto her binoculars (monocular).
She built her own nest by flying around finding things (pillows and blankets) just like birds do. She stayed in her nest for about an hour once it was built.
And for a perfect ending to bird week... Jared went Pheasant hunting with a group from work today. Between the eight of them they got 54 birds. Jared shot at least 9 by his count. (He is the second from the right)
This is also the PHOTO OF THE WEEK!

Bradley trying out the high chair. He's still a bit small for it.
