Mother's Day and More...

These kids make being a mother so wonderful! On Mother's Day I got breakfast in bed. It was delicious crepes! Then we took some crepes over to Grandma too. After church we went to the Holt's church building to be there for Jaden's priesthood ordination. We finished the day with dinner and cheesecake at the Holts' house. It was also Jaden's birthday.

I really got to celebrate Mother's Day all month long. The first week in May I got to go to Jacob's class for a very special program for their moms. They sang us a bunch of songs and then served us a treat and we got to eat it together. Then  the second week I got to go to a tea party with the moms at Caitlin's preschool. Then Mackayla invited me to a mother and daughter spa night with the activity day girls. Its been so fun.

We had a youth fundraising auction and Jacob contributed this signed picture of himself. It ended up going for $13 and he was very proud.

I got to go with Mackayla to Biz Town where she was assigned to be the CEO of Central Washington University. Mackayla and Bradley both did Upward soccer this year. They had a great season. There are pictures of them playing and of their supportive fans. Chad and Amy were out of town for a few days and we got to have their kids stay with us. It was so fun to cousins with us.

The dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms so when I found Nikki in Caitlin's bed I was about to kick her out but Caitlin explained that she needed to read Nikki some scriptures so she would feel better since she was scared of the thunderstorm. I guess that is a good reason for an exception to the rule.

This is my new puppy named Glitter. She got along very well with the two dogs we already had.

We got to celebrate Grandpa's and Grandma's birthdays this month. We also got to visit the cemetery for Memorial Day. Jared and Mackayla went on a date to the school play at the junior high.
