On the 23rd we went bowling the family. We tons of fun and then went back to Grandpa's and Grandma's house to meet up with Chad, Amy and family. We all went to Burger King and met up with all of the Trees. We love this tradition! We had to go a day early since Christmas Eve was on a Sunday. We all put on matching pajamas that night from the year before just for fun.
Christmas Eve started off with our Santa waffles before church. We had a wonderful church service. Jared, Mackayla, and Jacob all sang in the church choir.
We gathered with all the family again after church. Bradley and Cannon knocked heads and ended up with some pretty major goose eggs. We had our Christmas Eve music concert and then a devotional. Derek's family even got to join in that through face time.
We headed back home to open pajamas and get ready for Santa to come. The kids all slept in the girl's room.
Christmas morning! Such a special time filled with so much excitement. I love all the memories created during these few days.
Everyone had fun opening presents. The kids opened that tower of presents and each box had a clue until the final box told them we're going to Hawaii in February. They were pretty darn excited!
Then that afternoon we headed back to gather for dinner. Another wonderful, perfect Christmas!
The days following Christmas we had fun just playing games and we went to watch the new Star Wars movie. On New Year's Eve we stayed at Grandpa and Grandma's house. We rang in the new year a little early and put the kids to bed. Mackayla stayed up until midnight though.
