Getting settled in Yakima

One of the first few nights after we arrived in Yakima, we drove around to different parks to check them out. They loved climbing the trees at Gilbert park. We met Jared there later that week for a lunch picnic. My parents were still out of town and everyone in Yakima was still in school for a few weeks, so things were nice and quiet around there.

Caitlin always wants her picture taken with all the mannequins when we're at a store. We also went to kids castle a few times.

They had a mother/daughter Relief Society activity that we all went to. While we were gone, Jared and the boys went fishing with Grandpa at a little lake for kids. Everyone had a great night.

We picked up a chicken coop that Chad and Amy had bought and delivered it to their house for them. The kids loved meeting their new chickens.
We went to the cemetery on Memorial weekend and then got to celebrate Grandma's birthday.

We always love getting to go swimming at the Tree's pool.
Caitlin fell asleep on the couch, sitting next to Grandma after a fun night of jumping on the trampoline.

It was pretty exciting when the house for the tour finally started progressing!
We spent a Saturday driving up towards Mt Rainer. We wanted to hike the Naches Loop but it was still covered in snow, so we just hiked around the lake a little and then drove to Bumping Lake to check it out. It was so beautiful!

She wanted to share Daddy's bowl of cereal with him.
