November

This was a funny sight to turn around and see.
Caitlin always wants us to take her pictures next to the mannequins.
Melissa turned 36 this month. Its always fun to have a birthday on a Sunday so you can be with your family all day.  After church, the Holts and Chamy Hats joined us for a celebration.
Grandma made me a yummy cake.

We made our annual thankful tree again. We're doing our best to keep up all of our regular traditions this year.
Mackayla sang in the 4th grade Veteran's Day Program. We really enjoyed getting to spend the evening watching the great performance.
We enjoyed a couple of fun movie nights at Jared's tour house before he sold it.
Jacob still LOVES to wrestle with his dad. He just can't get enough. I tried to get a few action shots.

Bradley was helping out as Jared did a few last minute things to the tour house before the sale closed on November 20th. We were so happy it sold, but also sad to have to say goodbye to this project that we worked so hard on.
One last picture there.

A couple of selfies :)
The Saturday before Thanksgiving the school enjoys a Turkey Trot Race at a park. The kids all ran a one mile race with their own grades. It was so cold but they all did so good!
All ready to go!
Enjoying some breakfast
Caitlin finally let me try blow drying her hair straight. She looked so different without the tight curls. Still beautiful though!
I've been getting up early doing the Insanity workout videos. On Saturdays I often get to have a few little workout buddies.

The week of Thanksgiving brought the first big snow of the year, and our first two hour delay for school. So exciting!!!
The two hour delay gave them just enough time to play in the snow for awhile.
Grandpa, Grandma, and Heather all flew out to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving to spend some time with Derek's family. The Holts and Chad's family were with their other families, so we just spent a nice quiet Thanksgiving by ourselves this year.
Always a great feast! Our turkey turned out great. We made Grandma Jones' cranberry jello for the first time, and we all loved it (even if it didn't set up properly). Everything was delicious!
Jared was showing me how incredibly stuffed he was.
So, of course he took a nap while I did all the dishes.
Time for Pie! The kids helped make an apple pie and a banana pie.
One of each for him.
I did most of my black Friday shopping this year on-line, but we did go to a few stores on Friday morning with the kids. We had to make one stop to get Mackayla some ornaments for her Christmas Tree. It's officially time for Christmas!
We set up our tree that day also. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
And to finish off the month, Jacob made this incredible masterpiece of his name out of pretzels!! Amazing!
