Tis the Season...

We are truly enjoying this holiday season. Christmas is, as usual, approaching too quickly. Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to.

Santa came to our ward party!

The kids wanted to act out the Christmas story for family home evening. Mackayla wanted to be the angel and Bradley really wanted to be baby Jesus. Jared and I were assigned to be Mary and Joseph. Jacob got the role of a sheperd.

Our little sheperd with his sheep and staff.

What a cute baby Jesus

The kids are loving their Christmas countdown. They have been acting so good so that the elves will leave them a treat each day. Even Jacob is really into this and runs to check the stockings each morning.

Jared and all his little helpers putting up a few christmas light.

Our ginger bread house. I forgot to take a picture of the house after they finished that night but Jared had this one from his phone.

Just for our own personal memories here are a few pictures of some of our Christmas decor...

Your decorations are gorgeous, Melissa - good job! I LOVE the nativity scene; the kids are just adorable. Today was the first day our elves forgot to come. There was a storm last night, so hopefully they will make it before the day is out.
