Jacob's Baptism

 Jacob was baptized on September 9th at the Selah Stake Center. We hurried over there after the Tour of Homes was finished for the day and had a wonderful evening with Jacob and family. It was so great to have Papa, Nini and Jason be able to come up and have all our family that lives around here there also. Chad's and Amy's family were also there but we didn't get a picture of them. There was one other girl from our ward also baptized, Baden Webster. We're so proud of our little Jacob and the wonderful young man that he is!

The Hero Up Race

 

I ran in my first race ever. Amy and I completed the Hero-up half marathon. It was such an awesome event to be part of and a perfect way to remember Mitchell on the anniversary of his passing. Jared and many of the others ran in the 5K race.

After the race we stopped by the Bonneville Dam. As we were leaving we saw that a fire had just started. We hurried out of there but it turned into a huge forest fire that burned most of the Columbia Gorge.

Loving life! Jared had another great home on the Tour of  Homes this year. It's always nice when its over.

Back To School

 Caitlin did a practice round at a home lunch for school. She was able to get everything open and is feeling ready for school. Mackayla had her back to school night and is getting excited.

Jacob started 2nd grade, Bradley started 4th and Mackayla started 6th grade. They all had a great first day and looked great! After school Bradley was making sure Jacob knew where to go to come find me.

They had a couple of new outfits each so I took more pictures of them on the following days.

Caitlin's first day of Kindergarten! She only went for one day during the first week so that made it a little easier. She had a great time though and loved her teacher.

Ending the day with a little boxing
